We spent last Sunday hanging out at an Old English pub in Cedar called "The Crow & Gate". Its a beautiful pub located in the rural area of town with some amazing features! A beautiful pond, old English style homes, rolling grass, tall trees and delicious pub fare! We met up with Kevin and Melissa and shared a few pints before we got going on the shoot! 

They remind me of a Nicholas Sparks story...sort of like the Note Book! Melissa & Kevin met when they were teenagers back in 1998 - they were 15 and on summer vacation with their families in the Okanagan. There was an instant connection! They talked every day on the phone (once there was a 14 hour conversation!!!) and dated long distance for long time with Kevin living in Vancouver, and Melissa living in Calgary. Eventually they went their separate ways, and spent 5 years apart, living their own lives, going to school, raising giant lizards...In the Spring of 2010 Facebook brought them together, and it was as if they hadn't missed a single beat. Now here we are, they're engaged, the past is history and the future is bright! 

We had a fabulous afternoon with Kevin & Melissa. They make each other laugh & smile...simply put: They Glow together. Its wonderful! We loved their session and we know you will! We'd love to know what you think so please leave us a comment below!
