When life throws you lemons - make lemonade! That is part of the Julien Photography philosophy, Al & Madison did just that and had themselves an amazing intimate wedding with a few of the nearest and dearest!
Their original wedding plans involved Noisy Acres, with a lot more guests, unfortunately with all thats going on in the world, it just couldn't happen. Even though it didn't go exactly as they had planned - it went perfectly! Madison had thought about a backyard wedding during the planning process - landscaping their yard, having a catered event at home and keeping it intimate! When the opportunity arose to still host a smaller, more intimate wedding - they jumped at the chance to transform their backyard and host their celebration there!
There were so many awesome parts to the day - but none so heart clenching as Alexanders vow's to Madison, they were tear inducing, especially this part...
"Madison - you said growing up that everyone always chose you last. I chose you first"
I mean - there was not a dry eye at the ceremony, including ours! It was beautiful! After the ceremony, A&M were surprised to see the whole neighbourhood come together in their social bubbles to congratulate them, cheering and holding signs for them! It was an unreal sight and reminded us of the joy weddings bring to everyone and having everyone celebrate in that love together!
June 20 has a special place in our hearts - not only is it Al & Madisons wedding date, its also ours! It was fantastic to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary, we were treated to an amazing dinner, at a private table in the backyard - served by the amazing Spice of Life Catering.
This was our first wedding post Covid quarantine, and we were overwhelmed by the amount of joy and love surrounding these two! It was spectacular to share in their celebration!
