There is a beautiful little church in Qualicum, and in all the years I've been driving around the town, I always loved the look of the it. When we got into wedding photography, I always wanted to shoot it. When Matt & Tianay told us that was the church they'd be getting married in, I nearly passed out! I was so excited!! Their wedding day arrived...and it rained hard! It was one of those days everyone was incredibly thankful for the shelter of the church. A question we often get asked is: "What if it rains?" We like to make a rain plan first, and sunny plan second. We live on Vancouver Island, I'm adjusting Effie here (from the Hunger Games), but "the Odds aren't often in your favour". We live in a lush rain forest. While during the summer months the sun tends to shine, if you live here, you just know you can never be too sure, and a rain plan is wise! We had planned on Milner Gardens should the rain continue, they offer amazing cover with loads of character! Matt & Tianay were game for anything on their wedding day, and they didn't let it dampen the excitement!!
Matt & Tianay, thank you so much for having us make magic on your rainy day! We loved getting to know you, and wish you lifetimes of love and happiness!
Warmly,
The Julien's
Courtney & Steve
