Nanaimo Wedding {Sarah & Mike}

Sarah & Mike's day was our first official HOT SUMMER wedding! We all thought we would melt...and we did, but just a little! Following their ceremony - we made off for the cool, ocean breeze at Piper's Lagoon & some gorgeous portraits! Sarah & Mike were nothing but smiles, and we loved photographing them on the best day of their lives! 

We always love a little bit of family tradition and personal touches as part of a wedding days!! Sarah's pearls & veil were passed down to her for the big day! Her mom wore the pearls & veil on her wedding day, as did her grandmother! There was so much family connection at this wedding, and we were so grateful to be part of it! Paula, Sarah's mom, alongside a few other fabulous ladies whipped up a feast fit for royalty, and we had our first taste of Gravy & Biscuits...something we won't soon forget!!
