Powell River Wedding {Ben & Christina)

Powell River isn't somewhere Steve or myself have visited very often - I'm pretty sure we'd each only been there once (now twice), as kids. So we weren't too sure what to expect when we arrived in the early morning for Ben & Christina's wedding. The first stop we made was to somewhere familiar - Tim Hortons, and from there we toured the town, the new part all the way up to the old part, and more excited with each passing tree, beach & historic building! It is STUNNING! The historic part of town is filled with neat old buildings dating back to the 1900's, the Townsite Brewery, Dwight Hall (where their reception was!) not to mention a gorgeous view of Texada Island in the distance! We knew it was going to be a great day!

A big part of what made Ben & Christina's day so amazing was the amount of family involved in helping to get things done, dresses hemmed, cakes baked and bouquets made! Christina's sister did the alterations on her gown, and offered her stunning home for her to get ready in! Ben's mom crafted all the beautiful bouquets, and his sister Laura baked & decorated their beautiful wedding cake & cupcakes! Christina's dad helped to build an indoor patio, and the list goes one! This wedding was amazing!
